Why is my sound cut off on my Denon TV?

XBR75X950G connected via earc (HDMI3) to Denon AVR-S750H. When using the local apps (netflix, hulu, etc) the sound will drop out intermittently and will not return until I cycle power off/on on the tv.

Is there a problem with my Denon arc?
