Why does my stereo have no sound?
Typically when a car stereo produces no sound it’s usually caused by a shorted or grounded wire, defective speakers, faulty head unit/fuses, or setup is not yet complete with your radio unit.
Why is my pioneer VSX 1122-k receiver not working?
Intermittantly, the sound seems to come on for a second or two (almost like there was a loose connection, which there doesn’t seem to be.
What’s the problem with my Pioneer Elite vsx-52?
This just happened to my Pioneer Elite VSX-52. Followed audioken tip except heated the whole entire board at about 4″ high with heat gun… Problem resolved. Hope I will get a few more years out of this unit (which I love).
Is the sound working on my pioneer TV?
— As indicated earlier, the sound is working fine on multiple other TV’s on the same cable service and line). The sound now seems to be back to a ‘sound with intermittant ‘no-sound’ patches. Box to TV connection is HDMI; Box to receiver connection is Optical, Receiver to TV seems to be through the cable box via the optical cable.
Is there a DTS chip on a vsx-51?
I just looked at a vsx-51 doing this. There’s a ball-grid-array DTS chip on the digital pcb. Cooking this with a heat gun for 30-40 seconds (with the rcvr unplugged) has resoldered it, (no more UE-22), for now.
