Why does my Marantz sr7009 keep shutting itself off?

Why does my Marantz PC turn off and on by itself?
No other electric appliances in the apartment have done the same thing.Also my pc which is connected to it had not restarted.There are no loose wires or speaker wires touching the back of it .There is no overheating problem.There is no blinking light before this happens. What should I do if my Marantz is flashing red?
The correct procedure is to change the caps, and bring the unit up slowly watching power supply voltages and monitoring the line voltages on an o-scope as it comes up. If you are lucky this will just stop at the caps, and the unit will function again after replacement.
Why does my Marantz speaker have a flashing standby light?
It now simply has a flashing standby light (approx 2 times a second) when I turn the power on. In the manual it says to disconnect all the speakers etc to see if it is a blown speaker or a short circuited speaker that is the cause. All speakers are disconnected – with only the power supply attached and it is still the same.

Is there a firmware update on my Marantz sr5008?
I have a Marantz SR5008. This morning it prompted for a firmware update and I selected Continue to do the update. The unit power cycled itself, attempted connecting, then produced a Connect Failure 0E error. After a few retries and manually power cycling, it now produces Connect Failure 01 error.
