Why does my Yamaha RX v675 have no sound?
I connected just the basics, two speakers (all I have right now), subwoofer (powered), hdmi out and network to try it out, and I’m not getting any sound out of it whatsoever. I’ve tried using the radio, and playing Pandora through the internal app and no matter how much I turn the volume up, I get absolutely zero sound.
Set the HDMI Control to ON. In my TV (LG) it’s called SimpLink. Set the HDMI Control to ON. Set the ARC to ON. Set the Audio Input to HDMI, not to AUDIO (this was the thing that caused my issue with the sound). Set the HDMI Control to ON. Also, make sure you update your TV and BD Player with the latest software.
