Why does my CD keep stopping?

Usually, a CD or DVD that skips or does not play properly is dirty. Fingerprints, dust, dirt, and hair can interfere with the laser reading the disc causing it to skip or have other minor glitches in specific parts of the disc.

Why is my Bose CD player not working?

Hello I just purchased a used wave radio CD player and the CD player is not working. When I press play the CD was spinning and would show track 1 but nothing would happen. Now nothing is happening. I unpluged it for about an hour and tried again, but still nothing. Physcially the unit is in great shape so I doubt it has been abused.

How can I Clean my Bose CD player?

If your player is not reading any discs at all though, then try purchasing a can of compressed air (available at Staples, or Wal-Mart). Open the CD drawer, or remove the cover of the player by removing the screws on the sides and rear of the unit. Then spray the can approximately 10″ from the lens to blow any dust off of it.

Is there a CD player that will not play CDs?
