Why does my Arlo keep timing out?
The 30 minute timeout is probably due to server/data center capacity. All Arlo data transfers (live streaming, recording, etc) goes thru the Arlo servers/data centers. There is no local transfer of data, like a POE system with a DVR would have.
How do I fix the time on my Arlo?
Change Arlo video recording length
- Log into the Arlo app.
- Choose Mode.
- Select the base station or camera that you want to adjust.
- Tap the pencil icon next to Armed.
- Tap the pencil icon next to the camera you wish to edit.
- Tap the pencil icon next to Record Video.
- Select Record until activity stops (up to 300 sec).
