When was the Technics sa-gx130 stereo synthesizer receiver made?
An ideal second system in a workshop or a bedroom. There are two version of this receiver, both built in the 1992-1994 time frame and both bearing the SA-GX130 model designation. The front panel text on one reads Stereo Synthesizer Receiver while the other reads AV Control Stereo Receiver.
Is the Technics gx130 a good sound system?
Not exactly a powerhouse at 40 watts into 8 ohms but provides a warm and musical sound, enough inputs for CD, tape deck etc. It drives a pair of Late 80’s Wharfedale Ritz Diamond speakers to sensible levels making a great 2nd system very pleased.
Is the sa-gx130 a good value for money amplifier?
The SA-GX130 receiver is a great value for money amplifier. It sounds lovely, with a robust and dynamic sound that will never let you down no matter what you play. It also provides bass and treble adjustments so you can get the sound just how you like it, and the loudness adjustment really brings the music or radio to life.
What are the specs of an AV control receiver?
My comments are based on the AV Control Stereo Receiver version, which is rated at 70 watts per channel into an 8-ohm load, from 40-20kHz, with 0.5% THD. In short, this is a great little receiver whose sound quality and reliability are far better than its price and specs would lead you to believe.

What does a Technics AV control receiver sound like?
I love that this receiver sounds great and has silent fan that does great job keeping it from overheating. my turntable sounds terrific with build in phono stage and parametric EQ is a state of the art. I think its awesome accept for the cooling fan.
