What is ADT bypass?

Bypass. Bypass excludes a zone of protection from the security system until it is un-bypassed or until the next time you disarm the system. Bypassing can only be done while the system is turned off. Press the [Bypass] key followed by your [user code] and then the [zone no. (1-8)] to be bypassed.

  1. Enter the following: Your 4-digit code. The number 6 (bypass button) Two-digit zone number of the zone you want to bypass. (01, 02, 03, etc.)
  2. Repeat this process for all zones you would like to bypass.
  3. Once your system is disarmed, this process will need to be repeated in order to arm your system again.
