What is ADT bypass?
Bypass. Bypass excludes a zone of protection from the security system until it is un-bypassed or until the next time you disarm the system. Bypassing can only be done while the system is turned off. Press the [Bypass] key followed by your [user code] and then the [zone no. (1-8)] to be bypassed.
How can I override the security system?
Bypass a Zone
- Enter the following: Your 4-digit code. The number 6 (bypass button) Two-digit zone number of the zone you want to bypass. (01, 02, 03, etc.)
- Repeat this process for all zones you would like to bypass.
- Once your system is disarmed, this process will need to be repeated in order to arm your system again.
