Can a Denon 2113avr use a subwoofer?
The manual isn’t clear but it might well be the case that direct mode will not use the sub. It does say that regular stereo (i.e. not direct) mode will output to the sub as well though. Failing that I would guess you will need to connect to a TV and bring up the speaker configuration menu unfortunately. I have a Denon 2113AVR which works well.
Why does my Denon 2808 not have a subwoofer?
On my slightly older Denon 2808 you do kind of get the menu on the front LCD but it’s almost impossible to use without the manual open, but you may be able to struggle through using the front screen at a push. I think the main speakers are probably set to large and/or the sub is marked as off in the menus.
What do you need to know about the Denon avr-3801?
INTRODUCTION Thank you for choosing the DENON AVR-3801 Digital Surround A / V receiver. This remarkable component has been engineered to provide superb surround sound listening with home theater sources such as DVD, as well as providing outstanding high fidelity reproduction of your favorite music sources.

What kind of Music do you listen to on a Denon?
If you mainly listen to music, imho it really depends on what style!!! I love classical music, and the crisp highs and mid’s are a great combo. However, if you listen to rock music, a strong base is usually desired and I find the Denon and Klipsch combo lacking in this area.
What kind of signal does the Denon AVR get?
The ARC connection provided a Dolby Atmos signal to the AVR which plays as 7.2 to my speakers. I learned over in the Denon receiver thread that the signal is contained in a Dolby digital lossy package. I thought the eARC carried a lossless signal. It will, but eARC is not yet implemented.
Why is my arc not working on my Denon TV?
Also ARC appears to be on at both the Denon and LG TV. ARC/CEC issues are not uncommon. The culprit is usually CEC because of non-standardized protocols. The device mfrs are free to implement whichever protocols they want for whatever reasons they choose to do so. It can work for awhile and then have issues after an update or a change in devices.
Why does my LG TV have no AVR?
While the erroneous switching to the Blu-ray input ceased, subtle failures occur intermittently. The OLED reports no signal, although the DVR and AVR all indicate a signal is transmitted. Usually, that occurs when I use the Harmony to switch from the OPPO to DVR.

Can a Marantz AV receiver work with a Denon TV?
Both Denon and Marantz are releasing 8K AV Receivers and I should be able to re-purchase either one of these devices to work with my 8K home Theater system. Just 2 days ago I updated the firmware of my TV via USB thumb drive, since my TV was not picking up the new firmware. The software was installed without problem and was upgraded to 1361.0.
