The good news with Honeywell alarm systems is there is a “back door” into Program Mode to reset the Installer Code and Master Code. If your keypad says Ademco its now Honeywell (acquired in 2000). ADT for years has used Honeywell/Ademco systems so don’t be fooled by the ADT label on the keypad.
Can a Honeywell lynxr be reprogrammed to another Resideo panel?
You will be able to keep your existing security sensors if you go with another Resideo (Honeywell) panel such as the L7000 or the Lyric. The 5800 series wireless sensors you have now will be able to be reprogrammed to either of those security panels.
What are the phone numbers on the Honeywell Lynx?
Thanks for the reply. Both panels show “Honeywell”. Labels in the panels look identical to other LYNX panels I have. The numbers on the main board and micro-controller different though. It seems odd to me the phone numbers for the monitoring station and subscriber information cannot be accessed.

Assuming you see Installer Code 20 (indicating you got into programming mode), enter * 20 + new installer code. Then press *99 to exit programming mode. Once you reset your installer code just use that installer code to reset the master code by entering installer code + 8 + 02 + new master code. I’ll try that. Thank you!

How to enter programming mode in lynxr-en?
TO ENTER PROGRAMMING MODE: 1. Power up, then depress [✱] and [#] both at once, within 50 seconds of powering up. OR 2. For factory defaulted system, enter: Installer Code(4 + 1 + 1 + 2) plus 8 + 0 + 0. OR If different Installer Codeis programmed, enter:New Installer Code + 8 + 0 + 0.
