Is there a CD player that will not play CDs?
Our Bose radio/CD player will not play CDs (radio works fine). Disc goes in ok, then it says “Reading Disc” for about 15 seconds, then it says “Disc Unreadable” or something like that. What to do if your CD player is not reading a disc?
The first is to purchase a CD/DVD laser lens cleaner disc, and run it through the system several times. If your player is not reading any discs at all though, then try purchasing a can of compressed air (available at Staples, or Wal-Mart).
Why does my Bose CD player not work?
If it still doesn’t work, you can opt to clean the lens eye itself, by using isopropyl alcohol, and a lint-free cloth to gently wipe the “eye”. Then use a dry spot on the cloth to buff the eye clean. If the CD player is still not reading discs, then the lens or transport mechanism is faulty and would need to be replaced.

Why does my CD player send back a ” no disc ” message?

Unless your cd player is very old, it will read cd-r cd-rw, however, as dmp says, you can only fit 80 mins max on one disc. If you have nero then you can create an audio disc using the software – just follow the wizard. I have transfered all the songs from the different CDs onto my laptop but I now need to burn them all onto one disc.
