Is the subwoofer cutting out on my LG TV?

There are now THOUSANDS of comments on line about the LG subwoofers cutting out. I just purchased an LG OLED C9 TV and SL8YG sound bar with woofer.

Is the LG sk9y a good subwoofer?

Absolutely no problems at all with subwoofer. Sounds great. LG SK9Y is a piece of garbage. I had to go 5-6 weeks with not having any bass in my brand new living room setup. Wasn’t intending on a rant on BestBuy, but if you are considering this POS, if you have issues, just take it straight back to the store and buy something else.

Why did my LG sk10y soundbar cut out?

Sent back my sk10y because the wireless sub caused stupid WiFi interference no matter placement, WiFi channel, etc. sub would constantly cut out fighting my WiFi. Ahhhh not what I wanted to hear LOL. When you say you sent it back where did you send it back to?

Why does my subwoofer keep cutting out after installation?

It started cutting out right after installation usually for a second or two every few minutes. All my WIFI equipment is at least 20′ from the speaker system except for the DISH set top box which receives WIFI and oh by the way so does the TV and the Sound Bar. You can actually use WIFI as a standard communication method between the two.
