Why is my computer not connecting to my Lorex system?
If you still can’t connect, the Ethernet cable might be damaged. Try a different Ethernet cable. Lorex system and computer are not on same network. Your Lorex system and your computer must be connected to the same router to connect using the system’s local IP address.
Can a Windows 7 Monitor work with a Lorex DVR?

Power on the monitor / TV first, and then power on the DVR. Monitor is not Windows 7 Touch compatible. Lorex DVR’s are only compatible with touch screen monitors that are Windows 7 Touch compatible.
How to change the port number on Lorex?
Ensure that you change the port number to port 35000 from the default port number (37777) to ensure connectivity. Where it indicates ‘serial number’, enter the Device ID shown on the QR code label of the product. The Device ID is shown below the QR code on the label. 2.
Is there going to be a product update for Lorex?
As of Aug 15th, 2019, Lorex implemented a critical product update to ensure quality user experience and system functionality. With this product update, some customers were required to transition over to a new Lorex app in order to continue uninterrupted service.

Where is the serial number on a Lorex security camera?
Every Lorex security camera and recorder will have a model number and a serial number. These are typically found on the reverse side of the recorder or security camera. DVR / NVR serial numbers will be displayed either above or below the barcode, starting with M/N:*****.
