Can you set alarm with low battery?

Most alarm systems have a backup battery that kicks in if the power ever goes out. When the battery is low or dead in an old alarm system, the system will start beeping to alert you that it needs to be replaced. If your battery is low, it will either need to be disconnected or replaced.

The battery needed changing on one of the sensors last year and I was charged 50 quid so when the same thing happened with the upstairs sensor I thought I would do it my self but now I’ve still got system troubles messages and the amber warning light is still on ? Why is my Visonic PowerMax SO1 battery low?

Flat external siren battery. Alarms need maintenance, wireless alarms need batteries. Unlock paddock on keyfob will silence for 4 hours or if you home set it the default setting will not beep. On that panel if you do a successful arm disarm it clears. Hate the stuff personally.
